The course is aimed at giving you an introduction to patterns, construction techniques, fabrics and most commonly used terminology in sewing and dressmaking. You'll learn the very basics of sewing and using machinery.
During the course we will create a tote bag from scratch.
Great for people who just got a sewing machine or are thinking of getting one to jumpstart you on your journey and get the basics down to allow you to explore the world of sewing.
Drag Royalty sewing course
For anyone in drag who wants to learn the specifics of drag costumes.
Welcome to our Sewing Course for Drag Artists! Whether you're a fabulous drag queen or a striking drag king, this course is designed to unleash your creativity and enhance your costume-making skills. Join us to learn essential sewing techniques, discover unique styles, and bring your bold visions to life. Let’s stitch together magic that makes your performances unforgettable!
During the course we can get into details of drag specific sewing and make sure to answer any questions you may have about problems you may have run to making your own costumes.
You can either work on a look of your own or we can come up with one for you to work on to make sure you leave the course with a usable costume and some new knowledge of how to work with drag costumes.
All levels are welcome but some sewing experience is required. If you have never done any sewing before it's highly recommended to do the 4 week beginners class first. What you can make depends on your own skill level.

Want to join the journey into sewing from a young age?
Learn the basics of sewing by doing small sewing projects.
Time 4 weeks (4x2h) Course runs continuously through the year so you can keep following it on monthly basis. Payments 1/month.

At the beginning of each course we make a study plan based on the groups wishes and experience level. Example projects:
Hair scrunchies, soft toys, Christmas decorations, circle skirt, tote bag, fabric colouring, embroidery.
